KELO-COTE® Spray is a light and transparent silicone gel indicated for the treatment and prevention of hypertrophic scars and keloids.
Composition
KELO-COTE® is an advanced silicone treatment formula. Silicone gels are the first line treatment for hypertrophic scars and keloids according to updated international clinical guidelines (Gold, 2014).
Instructions for use
It is recommended to start using KELO-COTE® scar dressings immediately after wound closure (after removal of stitches and disappearance of any scabs). Shake the pack before use. It is important to ensure that the affected area is clean and dry. Hold the container at a distance of 15-20 cm from the surface to be treated. Finally, spray the scar with a gentle sweeping motion, making sure to cover the entire affected area evenly. It dries in 5 minutes. The minimum duration of treatment is 60-90 days.
